Excessive Sweating Remedy - Stop the Drenching Now

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is an embarrassing condition that many people face.
It usually happens on the underarms or palms of the hands, making many social interactions uncomfortable when having to shake hands or attend meetings.
Most cases of hyperhidrosis are not caused by activity, temperature, or nervousness; therefore it cannot be regulated as normal sweating can.
Many of the people that are faced with this disorder do not like to talk about their inability to control their sweat glands, so many cases go untreated.
Fortunately, there are excessive sweating remedies available to help victims stay dry.
Many people may use antiperspirants as an excessive sweating remedy.
Some over the counter ones will work, especially those containing high levels of aluminum chloride, which helps plug the sweat glands to drastically reduce the amount of sweat that reaches the skin's surface.
Other antiperspirant products can be made available through a prescription.
These medicines are usually applied at night, then washed off the following morning.
The downfall to these medications is that some can cause irritation, especially to sensitive skin.
If antiperspirants do not work for you, there are herbal teas and remedies out there that may help reduce the amount of sweat produced daily.
Raspberry Honey Iced Tea and Lime Mint Iced Tea, for example, are believed to assist in getting your excessive sweating under control.
The recipes for these drinks are available all over the Internet.
It is also recommended to boil sage in water for a few minutes, then remove the leaves and drink the water once it cools.
Doing is twice a day, every day is said to decrease the amount of perspiration.
Botulinum toxin (or Botox) has recently become approved by the FDA to help treat excessive sweating.
When all of your other methods have failed, Botox may be the excessive sweating remedy that works.
Several shots of the chemical are injected into the body, and will aid in up to six months of being sweat free.
The injections do not feel good, but to many they may be worth it to avoid pit stains and sweaty palms.
Though a costly procedure, its FDA approval has caused many insurance companies to cover Botox injections as an excessive sweating remedy.
In conclusion, excessive sweating reeks havoc on about 3% of the population; people who are otherwise healthy.
With the fact that excessive sweating causes are not related to normal sweating, it has been decided that it is contributed to overactive sweat glands.
There are products available to help decrease the amount of moisture pouring from the glands, and some work better than others.
Finding the one that works for you could mean finding relief from embarrassment and torture.
