For everyday use, there is also a daily market which happens every morning now days. Departmental stores, hospitals, fuel stations and restaurants, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian are available in the area.

The real estate industry of the area is on the upturn because of the influx of the migrants from the city who like to have a better atmosphere to build their houses in Thudiyallur and also have easy access to the city if they wished for it.
