Priyanka Chopra: The New Brand Ambassador Of Nikon Cameras

Priyanka Chopra, the Bollywood star who has been rocking the popularity chart with number of popular movies, interesting advertisements, and mind blowing stage performances, has once again become a hot topic for the media and drawing room discussions by grabbing away the brand ambassadorship of Nikon India.

Nikon is really a great achievement for the diva. Earlier she was also called as the Queen of Endorsements as she had several leading brands to her name. Some of the brands included Nokia, J.Hampsted, Tag Heuer, Hero Honda, Sunsilk, etc. Last year, she even got the privilege of being the brand ambassador of UNICEF and got a chance to promote child welfare and rights.

Nikon India, which is a 100% subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, one of the global giants of imaging technology, introduced the former Miss World as their brand ambassador and also announced that the Spring Series 2011 of its latest product range COOLPIX will be featuring the Bollywood diva. The brand will bring out 10 superbly featured cameras with wonderful picture quality. These are namely P500, P300, S9100, S6100, S4100, S3100, S2500, L120, L24, and finally L23. These cameras will be available in 39 attractive colors!

The TV campaign of COOLPIX will have Priyanka to promote the brand. It is notable that Nikon has increased its advertising and promotional budget to almost double the amount that it had set last year. The advertising budget of Nikon India is Rs 120 Crores this year, which has been set because of the company's confidence in Priyanka's talent, capability, and popularity!

Nikon is also looking forward to expand its market share in this fiscal year. Its plan is to make its market share expand to 25% during the year 2011 to 2012. The Image technology leader is already one of the popular names in the Indian market. The Managing Director of Nikon India, Hiroshi Takashina is amazingly confident about Priyanka and he believes that the company's target will be easily achieved with the Bollywood diva's presence in the advertising and promotional campaigns.

He finds Chopra as an inspiring and charming personality who is dedicated, talented, and thoroughly professional and believes that with her discipline and dynamism she will surely help Nikon to do well in the nation.
