I had one of the best times of my life in Franschhoek.
I was there with my soul mate and recall with the most beautiful memories so much about our visit.
Our Franschhoek accommodation was so suited to our specific holiday.
It was gentle, yet allowed us to roam and discover.
We frequented so many beautiful restaurants, we strolled the streets leisurely, we paged through the local books in the nearby bookstore, had late afternoon coffee and deserts, chatted so much and were able to have the time to appreciate one another.
This is the lesson in life.
I would love to have just one of those days again and cherish one of the most special people in my life.
For this reason, Franschhoek will always have a special place in my life.
I shared the experiences with my own personal angel who taught me all about life, gave me hope, love, strength and courage.
Now to face the world with these traits on my own.
We savoured the local wine, we just treated ourselves to what was on offer and made the most of life - right then.
When I return to Franschhoek, I hope to do the same - take in the moment, enjoy the scenery, experience the locals and hopefully sense my angel too.
