- 1). Make sure your work area is free of debris, clutter and people. Put on your protective gear.
- 2). Put the edge of the pry bar against the anchor plate. Pound your hammer against the back of the pry bar to force it under the anchor plate. Pry up as much of the anchor plate as you can with the pry bar. Use your pliers to get a good grip on the plate.
- 3). If some of the anchor plate is being stubborn, drill some holes in it. Then use your hammer and chisel to break it apart.
- 4). Once the bolt is exposed, use your grinder to cut it off. Then grind it down so it’s flush with the concrete.
