A friend sent me a mail that asked about some things in candida treatment that she can't find out.
She needs to know how much and how often fresh garlic should be eaten.
Also, she asked the same question about the probiotics: how much and how often it is to take acidophilus.
She has also read about "rotating" the anti-fungals, so I assume that means I should only eat the garlic for a period of time (how long?) before I go to another anti-fungal.
The problem she has most is chemical sensitivities, which the worst is to formaldehyde that she now understands it is likely caused by the aldehydes released by yeast.
Lastly, she asked if I have heard of (or tried) a product called ThreeLac.
The garlic can be several cloves daily and they say that if you swallow them whole, you won't get the smell, at least on your breath.
Regarding the probiotics, it depends on the dosage of each brand, but usually it is suggested to take 2 to 4 capsules daily when you are better, and up to 22 daily if you are still sick.
Most of the recommended rotation programs I have read say to change the antifungals every four days, but I have stuck with the SF 277 for two weeks and it still seems to be working.
I didn't get many results from the other kind of antifungals.
If you start adding molybdenum, pantethine, and pantothenic acid to your diet, it will help your body create the enzymes necessary to process the aldehyde by-products through your system.
This came from several medical studies, including one involving Dr.
Atkins.
As far as the Threelac, I have just added it to my SF 277 regimen with minimal problems.
What I experienced when taking it are lots of the upper gastric bloating and some of the facial swelling and the itching started to get much better.
Also, my mind seemed to work more clearly.
