Here's a look at the top ten men's World Cup Downhill ski racers following the second 2014 season Downhill race at Beaver Creek, Colorado 12/6/13.
This race was a little convoluted, in that, due to a schedule change based on a forecast of incoming snow, the men raced a Downhill on Friday instead of the scheduled super G. They also only had one day of practice on the course which ended up being a hybrid of the traditional Birds of Prey and the new women's Raptor course.
That said, Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal made quick work of it - finishing in 1:44.50 with Hannes Reichelt of Austria second and Italy's Peter Fill third - actually all four top finishers were within .25 seconds.
Again there were no U.S. Ski Team members in the top ten here, but Bode Miller, on the comeback trail following a season off to rehabilitate his knee, had a another very respectable 13th place finish to lead the U.S. men with Travis Ganong next in 15th place.
