Pasch - Paschal

Definition: Pasch or Pascha is the noun form of the word paschal which is applied to Easter and Passover. In Hebrew Passover is Pesach which is cognate with Pasch. Paschal refers to either Passover or Easter.

Also Known As: Pascha

Examples: The Paschal lamb is a symbol of Easter. Pesach celebrates the Biblical Exodus from Egypt.
