The Craft and Hobby Association trade show for 2015 has just wrapped. The booths are down, items shipped, sales made and travelers returning home. It was a whirlwind weekend with lots of excitement.
It was a good show for the jewelry making industry with several new products being featured. Several companies such as Beadalon, ImpressArt, The Buckle Boutique and Jesse James Beads featured new tools, beads, and other jewelry making goodness.
This trade show has heavily featured scrapbooking items the past few years and it is great to see other segments of the industry represented this year.
First up are two videos from Impress Art.
CHA Show 2015 ImpressArt Metal Stamps
Margot Potter explains how the new stamp, stack and store case makes it easier to find and place stamps as they are being used. The letter is impressed in the plastic case making it quick and easy to find and return stamps helping you to create easily and quickly and stay organized.
The case is also stackable for easy storage. The name of the font is printed in large letters making it easy to pull the desired font off the shelf and get right to work.
Impress Art is also introducing a new stamping hammer - it is an ergo handled hammer that is more comfortable to hold and easier to use. The new hammer is designed especially for those who sit and stamp metal.
The Bracelet Bender from ImpressArt CHA Show 2015
Next is the bracelet bending tool. Impress Art has created a new blank to be used as a shoe tag and she shares how the tool works to bend the blank so that it fits nicely onto your shoe laces. Of course, it is also used to create a bend in bracelets -blanks or cuffs.
