It is now March and I am sure like me, your mind is focused on your forthcoming summer vacation and there is no better place to visit that our beautiful and varied country the United Kingdom and Southern Ireland.
Every time I visit a new area, whether is be in England, the Channel Islands, Scotland, Wales, Northern or Southern Ireland I think and always say the same thing 'what a beautiful country we live in and how it is such a pity that the majority of visitors to our country travel from one tourist area to another at such speed they can not possibly enjoy the surrounding country areas and meet the true local people' Yes, I agree, it is important to visit the tourist areasotherwise they would not have become to popular if they were not so steeped in history but why do some visitors think they can cover the whole of the UK in one week!!!!You may disagree, but I can assure you this does happen.
I have the pleasure of working for a company who pride's itself on giving a personal and friendly service to visitors who are planning a vacation in the British Isles and Southern Ireland.
Yes, we are an internet based company, but our clients are not restricted to just speaking to a machine to obtain information they are able to call us on our toll free numbers from the USA, Canada and Australia to actually speak to an experience friendly travel consultant like myself, who will answer any questions and discuss all their travel requirements with them and also advise and offer the best deals available as we are able to obtain special rates on all accommodation whether it be B&B, hotels, self catering, castles, farm or barge holidays.
We are also able to offer the cheapest car rental in the UK and also arrange private transfers from airports or docks to anywhere in the UK.
We specialise in planning and arranging itineraries for clients to enable them to obtain the most out of their visit instead of just arriving on our shores and driving from A to B in the knowledge at some point they have to start for looking for a place to rest for the night instead of exploring and enjoying each area suggested in their itinerary and having all their accommodation already booked.
I speak to so many people who have the impression they can just arrive in the UK and find their accommodation as they travel around, how misled they are as I can spend hours just trying to find places for clients to stay and this may be months in advance of their visit - so my advise is to always make reservations in advance, enjoy each day to the full and then arrive to a warm welcome and a comfortable bed which has been reserved for you.
Away to Britain, not only arrange everything for the individual tourist but also arrange group tours and school trips.
My knowledge of William Shakespeare has greatly improved as this is the second year I have had the pleasure of arranging a Shakespeare Tour for a group of students from a school in Canada.
This involves arranging the coach transfer, accommodation at London and Stratford Upon Avon, reserving seats at all the Shakespeare plays taking place at both venues and also arranging for the group to attend Shakespeare workshops.
Much organisation is involved with these trips but it is all so worthwhile when one receives such appreciation from the clients and they come back to us to arrange their next tour.
Whether you are a resident of the UK or are planning on visiting our wonderful country with it's vast variation of scenery which differs so much during the four seasons of the year (not forgetting the winter sporting facilities in Scotland) then why not visit our user friendly website where you will find all the contact numbers and call us and let me or one of our other travel experts take the hassle out of planning your visit to the UK.
Please do not forget the UK will not disappear so don't try and visit the whole country on your first visit, come back another time to see more and just enjoy the countryside, the quaint towns, the people, the local festivals and traditions which take place and visit the wonderful ancestral homes which open their doors to the public and also enjoy the heritage of our unique country but most of all enjoy your visit and remember we are here to assist in planning your visit and are at the end of the telephone should you need us during your stay in the UK.
