When it comes to films taking place in space, it is hard to get better than Apollo 13.
This movie was a huge success, and it was no doubt in part to the great cast which consisted of Gary Sinese, Tom Hanks, Bacon and Bill Paxton.
Few people realize that Bacon's first movie was actually Animal House.
While I am not sure if this was his breakout movie, it still was one of his best.
Animal House paved the way for pretty much every other college comedy that followed suit.
Another great film starring Kevin Bacon was Footloose.
When it comes to iconic dancing films, Footloose is hard to beat.
I would consider this movie, along with Saturday Night Fever, to be the two most important movies in the genre.
No list of Kevin Bacon films could be complete without giving praise to Mystic River.
This is one of the best films to come out in recent years, and won Sean Penn an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Finally, I will include Hollow Man on this list.
Ok, maybe it is not actually a good movie, but is it enjoyable? Very much so.
As a fan of horror films, I truly enjoyed this movie and thought it was a great concept.
