Is Sodastream worth it? That's what I asked myself while researching how to make my own carbonated beverages.
Of course I liked all the benefits of making my own soda as needed right at home, but I wanted to know how much money I could save.
Now that I've used Sodastream for six months I can break down exactly what it costs for a typical user and compare it to what you would buy at your local grocery store.
With Sodastream, after the initial purchase, I can locally buy CO2 cartridge refills for $15, which is enough to make 60 liters of carbonated water using tap or filtered water from home.
